Students completing these accredited units will gain the advanced skills and knowledge required to identify, prevent, and manage life-threatening emergencies involving Asthma (22702VIC) and Anaphylaxis (22578VIC).
Beyond basic first aid, this training focuses on the clinical precision required to administer emergency medication (such as adrenaline autoinjectors and bronchodilators) while maintaining strict compliance with state regulations and Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

Course duration
Course durations can vary for multiple reasons, so the durations below are the minimum possible amount.
Refresher Face to Face contact time of at least 3 Hours
Face-to-Face Face to Face contact time of at least 4 Hours 30 Mins
Online with face-to-face assessment Face to Face contact time of at least 45 Mins
Entry requirements
Physical fitness to be able to meet the demands of the practical demonstration skills.
Online study: Students must have access to a computer, smartphone, tablet or other electronic devices with access to the internet to complete the online/ pre-course studies.
Assessment requirements
Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.
